This is a moral and ethical travesty! www.edc-creations.com/banads.htmlwww.blacknews.com/directory/black_african_american_authors.shtmlwordpress.com/tag/black-authors/The above links are just some of the websites I have found through my publishing ventures which clearly segregate every race and color from the Black Author. This is infuriating, to say the least. I am not speaking about some of the links referring to publishing companies specializing in publishing works dedicated to African experiences or history - I am speaking about the sites dedicated to publishing and promoting "BLACK AUTHORS!" I ask you as authors and aspiring writers whether you are black, white, yellow, green, purple or orange; whether you are European, Asian, Mexican, or otherwise – how do you feel about these companies that are strictly for the Black author? Are their words any more important than yours? I thought discrimination was not only illegal but I thought that we, as a nation, were passed all of this nonsense! How do you feel about not being Black and stumbling upon one of these websites?

I agree, deborah, writers should be known as writers alone, and not with labels of colour or race.. It is his word that matters, not the colour of his skin.
Warm regards Sunil Uniyal
